Delivery and returns

Delivery

All orders are normally shipped same day, or within 2 working days after placing your order, subject to holidays. Orders placed over the weekend and England public holidays are shipped on the next working day. 

  Delivery address

Please ensure that the correct shipping address details are entered when placing your order. If you notice an error, please email us at info@blindboxempire.com as soon as possible with your order number. We normally aim to ship on the same day depending on the time the order was placed. Therefore, it is important to notify us as soon as possible of any address errors. 

Any parcels returned to us due to incorrect shipping details, such as omitting the apartment or flat number in the building will be subject to the following charges which will be applied depending on how you wish to proceed after a parcel is returned to us due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided:-  

 - Parcel to be resent to correct address after you contact us. We will add £3.50 plus the normal shipping charge (eg. £4.50 total £8) and send the invoice to you for payment before we resend the parcel.

- Cancellation of order - we will refund your order, after deducting the shipping costs paid, and deducting a £3.50 charge on top. This is due to the shipping costs paid cannot be cancelled or recovered by us from the mail provided and also we are automatically charged a ‘return to sender’ postage fee by Royal Mail. 

 Pre-order items 

- Mixed orders

If your order includes a mixture of in stock and pre-order items, your order will be shipped together once the pre-order item(s) arrives. Should you wish for the in stock item(s) to be shipped first with the pre-order item to follow later once they arrive, additional shipping costs will be charged before we can ship the in stock items.

Essentially, if you would like the items shipped separately, they will be treated as separate orders for shipping purposes. If you would like the in stock item(s) to be shipped first, please either place a separate order for the in stock items, or let us know and we will issue you with an invoice for the additional shipping costs before we ship your item(s).

- Shipping date

Estimated shipping dates are provided for pre-order items but dates are subject to change depending on factors outside of our control. If you would like to cancel an order, if for example the shipping date has been extended, please email us on info@blindboxempire.com with details of your order number and request the pre order to be cancelled. Once an order has been shipped, we will not be able to cancel your order.

 

UK Postage

We normally use Royal Mail to post your items and you can choose between the following services:

  • 24 hour tracked £5.99 (1-2 days) 
  • 48 hour tracked £4.50 (2-3 days)
  • Orders over £50 - Free postage in the UK

However, we may occasionally use DHL or DPD to ship your order.  

 

We also offer an upgrade to DPD which is a 1-3 working day tracked service, however, DPD do not deliver on the weekends. Please note that the collection time for DPD is earlier than Royal Mail, so it is likely that the order will not be picked up until the next working day. 

  • Orders up to £50 - £6.50
  • Orders over £50 - £2.00

Europe

  • International Tracked - starting from £12 depending on weight.
  • Discounted shipping to Europe for orders over £125. (UPS or DHL)

 

Generally deliveries can take a week from date of dispatch to arrive. However, this will depend on your how quickly your country's customs and local mail service processes your parcel which may be affected by local circumstances such as weather that would result in a longer delivery time. 

*Please note that you may have local import duties and tax payable in your home country. You should therefore check the local rules. No tax or VAT is collected on orders to Europe, outside of the UK.

Canada

  • International Tracked - starting from £13 depending on weight.
  • Discounted shipping is available on orders over £125 where we bear part of the costs.

Australia

Returns/refunds

Before any item is returned, please contact us at info@blindboxempire.com. We will provide you with details of how to return the item. 

Please provide the reason for the request to return.

Any returns must be notified to us within 14 days of receipt and must be returned to us within 30 days of the original purchase date. 

We offer refunds or exchanges on all items, excluding any items in a blind box unless it is unopened or damaged when you received them. All items returned must arrive back with us in the same condition that you received it, unopened, undamaged, in its original packaging and in a sellable condition. Please therefore ensure you use the original packaging to safely pack and return the parcel to us. 

Returns will be processed via the same payment method that was originally used to process the initial payment. 

We do not refund the costs of postage and the customer is responsible for the costs of returning the item at their own costs. Tracked service is required. 

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

If unapproved, we will notify you accordingly.
